It was incredible! My team, The Lady Titans, battled against the opponents, the Hurricanes, in an epic (clean/ fair) fight for victory. There was alas a bit of a tousle between one of our players and the opposing teams player but the issue was soon resolved and our two teams were back into competing for the claim of the first game win! And so we were tied 2-2 in the last four minutes of the game. I was starting to get nervous because if the game were to end in a tie it would go into overtime and if no one scored in overtime then the game would go to penalty kicks. Dreaded, scary, awful penalty kicks. Time was running out. It was now down to one minute left in the game and then it happened...my team scored!!!! And soon after the ball was put back into play the three whistles rang and the game was over. We had won! Woooo! As a team, through hard work and willingness to work together we had pulled through to win our first game and to learn respect for one another. Now all that is left to be said is GO LADY TITANS!!!
