Date Night

Since Michael and I are so far apart we have decided not to let this stop us from having dates and enjoying each others company. We have begun to establish nights where one of us would pick a movie that we booth had or could rent and once the movie and food goodies are decided on we pop it in, call on our cell phones, count to three and start our movies at the exact same time :) That way we can feel like we are actually watching the movie together. We don't actually talk on the phone the whole movie but we do send each other texts at our favorite parts and to oooo and awwee at the action and fighting amd kick-butt scenes. The texts are also necessary to quote the hilarious parts from the comedies we watch! These date nights have been an extremely helpful way to help us feel connected even when we are so far away, it is also something fair for us to share and memories to make that we can someday reflect upon happily :) Only three more days and then these dates will actually be together but if there is ever a small moment in the future while we are away from each other for a bit it will always be a tradition that we can repeat and take comfort in!
